FRONT VIEW / DESIGN
BUILT WITH
PRESENCE.
Smoky plum, fractured bone artwork and a broad pullover shape.
01 / 06
Volume first. Artwork with a point of view.
This heavyweight boxy hoodie concept combines a wide body with dropped shoulders, angular sleeve seams and a strong chest composition. Bone-colored fragments and oxblood bars break across the washed plum base, while the kangaroo pocket keeps the lower front functional. The interest comes from the relationship between volume and artwork rather than an oversized logo. Develop the graphic, color story and garment proportions around your own collection.
FABRIC FIRST
Heavyweight is the design direction; the actual composition, GSM, thickness and handfeel are selected and approved during sampling.
BUILD YOUR COLOR STORY
Develop the body shade, contrasting artwork and rib as one palette. Approve their appearance together on the decorated sample.

BACK VIEW / DETAILS
SPACE FOR
THE SHAPE.
A compact upper-back motif leaves the plum surface and sleeve seams visible.
02 / 06
A quieter reverse, with the same attitude.
The back uses a small fractured bone mark and oxblood bars below the hood rather than repeating the full chest composition. Most of the back stays open, allowing the broad shoulders, hood volume and panelled sleeves to define the silhouette. This gives a brand room for a restrained rear signature while keeping a clear visual relationship with the front. Back artwork dimensions and position should be briefed separately.
PLACEMENT REVIEW
Measure the rear motif from a defined seam or neckline point and review its visibility with the hood both raised and lowered.
DESIGN OPTIONS
Your own small print, embroidery or label detail can be assessed instead; its construction and placement must be confirmed in the sample.

WIDTH WITH
CONTROL.
- CHEST & LENGTHSet the width-to-length relationship.
- HOOD VOLUMEBalance depth and opening.
- SLEEVE SHAPEControl fullness above the cuff.
- RIB TENSIONAgree hem and cuff recovery.
03 / 06
Define boxy through measurements.
A boxy hoodie should not simply be a regular hoodie enlarged in every direction. This concept balances a wide chest and generous upper sleeve with a shorter visual body proportion and a ribbed hem. Define chest width, shoulder drop, body length, bicep width and hood opening together. The fabric and rib choice influence how the body stands away from the wearer, so approve the fit on a complete decorated sample.
PATTERN DEVELOPMENT
Supply finished garment measurements and your size breakdown. The same body width can look different with a different shoulder drop or rib tension.
FIT SIGN-OFF
Check the garment standing, seated and with arms raised, then confirm measurements and tolerances for the final sample.

04 / 06
Develop the wash and graphic together.
The visual direction combines a faded plum surface, distressed graphic edges and visible panel seams. A suitable decoration and finishing route depends on the selected sweatshirt fabric and the artwork. DTG or another appropriate print method can be assessed during the brief review; the image alone does not identify a production process. Sample the chosen wash and decoration sequence together to review color, print definition, handfeel and any effect on seams or rib.
APPROVAL REFERENCE
Keep an approved garment and shade reference for the agreed appearance. Intentional fading should not be confused with uncontrolled variation.
QUALITY REVIEW
Check garment dimensions, seam appearance and artwork after the agreed care test; relevant report availability and scope are confirmed for the project.

ON-BODY / 05
A STRONG
EVERYDAY LAYER.
A low-angle outfit view shows the shoulder line, sleeve volume and hem balance.
05 / 06
See the boxy outline in motion.
The full-body concept pairs the plum hoodie with loose charcoal denim so the upper-body volume remains the focal point. The walking pose shows how the ribbed hem sits above a wide trouser leg and how the sleeve panels change with movement. For your collection, assess the hoodie with the intended underlayer and trousers rather than judging fit from a flat image alone.
ON-BODY APPROVAL
Use a physical sample to check hem lift, shoulder movement and the hood’s pull on the neckline with your intended underlayer.
COLLECTION ADAPTATION
Develop additional colorways only after approving the main fabric, fit and finish, with separate shade approval where required.

BEFORE YOU SEND YOUR BRIEF
Can a heavyweight boxy hoodie use a different fabric weight?
Yes. Share your target GSM, composition and handfeel. Fabric options and the resulting fit are assessed during development; the concept image does not specify a fixed weight.
Can we change the hood, sleeve panels and graphic?
Yes. These are development variables. Send your hood dimensions, panel drawing and separate artwork files so we can review construction and quote your design.
How do we approve the washed color and print?
Agree a shade and artwork reference, then review the decorated garment sample with the proposed finishing route. Confirm acceptable variation and the care checks before bulk approval.
