FRONT VIEW / DESIGN
DEEP PLEATS.
WIDE PRESENCE.
Deep pleats release into a generous trouser leg.
01 / 06
Controlled volume starts at the waist.
Deep front pleats create controlled volume above a wide leg. The extended waist tab gives the top block its own identity, while the warm-taupe surface stays restrained. The intent is a relaxed trouser for a streetwear collection, with enough structure to make the pleats readable and enough drape for the leg to move.
DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
Double front pleats, an extended offset waist tab, rear welt pockets and a deep finished hem.
MATERIAL DIRECTION
Twill or other suitable woven trouser fabric; composition, weight, drape and pressing response confirmed on sample.

BACK VIEW / DETAILS
CLEAN BACK.
BALANCED VOLUME.
A clean seat and welt pockets balance the full front.
02 / 06
Balance the front with a clean back.
The back uses welt-pocket details and a clean seat to balance the fuller front. Review back rise, pocket position and any shaping on the fit model. A simple reverse keeps attention on proportion and fabric rather than introducing a competing large graphic.
REAR CONSTRUCTION
Two clean welt pockets and a shaped back waist keep the reverse restrained. Confirm dart placement, welt length and seat ease on the worn sample without disturbing the wide drape.
SAMPLE REVIEW
Pleat release on the body, waistband balance, pocket gape, closure alignment and hem drape.

03 / 06
Approve how the pleats release.
Pleat intake, hip ease and rise affect how the front opens when worn. Check the sample standing and seated, looking for the intended release rather than unwanted pulling across the waist. Set the inseam and hem width with the footwear planned for the collection.
MEASUREMENT BRIEF
Waist, hip, rise, thigh, knee, inseam, hem opening, pleat intake and waist-tab overlap.
APPROVAL & GRADING
Approve the base-size sample and record changes before grading the range. Confirm finished measurements after the agreed finishing and care process.

04 / 06
Detail the waist before cutting.
The extended tab, pleats and welt pockets require clear construction information. Specify overlap, closure position, pleat direction and pocket opening. Review pressing and edge definition using the selected fabric; the same pattern can look very different in a crisp twill and a softer draping woven.
MATERIAL CHOICE
Twill or other suitable woven trouser fabric; composition, weight, drape and pressing response confirmed on sample.
CONSTRUCTION CHECK

ON-BODY / 05
REFINED CUT.
RELAXED ATTITUDE.
Relaxed tailoring with a compact upper silhouette.
05 / 06
A tailored influence. A relaxed outline.
A compact dark top and substantial shoe shift the pleated trouser away from a conventional office outfit. The side view shows the leg volume and the fall of the pleat. Styling establishes the collection direction, while the physical sample is used to approve balance and comfort.
COLLECTION CONTEXT
Review this silhouette with the tops and footwear planned for your collection. Styling images illustrate the direction; physical fit is approved on the sample.

SAMPLING & QUANTITY
MOQ starts from 50 pieces. Sample lead time is 7–20 days for the agreed scope; revisions and bulk schedules are confirmed separately.
PROJECT CONFIRMATION
Confirm materials, finished fit, decoration, labels and packaging before bulk approval. Relevant product testing and report scope are agreed for your project.
BEFORE YOU SEND YOUR BRIEF
Can the pleats be shallower or reduced to one?
Yes. Provide the desired front appearance and measurements. Pleat intake, hip ease and fabric drape are reviewed together on the sample.
Do these need a formal suiting fabric?
No. Twill and other suitable woven materials can be considered. Choose the desired structure, surface and drape before approving the fabric.
Can we use a standard waistband?
Yes. The extended tab is one design option. Changing the closure requires updated overlap and waistband construction details.
