XINHUI GARMENTS / CUSTOM MEN’S STREETWEAR
CUSTOM
DOUBLE-LAYER THERMAL
T-SHIRT.
Build a layered streetwear silhouette into one garment. Combine a jersey outer body with waffle-knit sleeve and hem details, then define the proportions, graphics and finishing for your collection.

FRONT VIEW / DESIGN
LAYERS WITH
INTENTION.
Smooth jersey and waffle texture create a clear contrast.
01 / 06
Two textures. One considered silhouette.
A cream short-sleeve jersey body sits over charcoal waffle-knit sleeves and a visible lower hem, creating a layered look within a single garment concept. The fractured black chest graphic adds an off-center focal point. The design depends on the relationship between the two fabrics and their visible lengths. Your brief defines the attachment method, inner-layer coverage, material choice and fit.
CONSTRUCTION DIRECTION
This concept proposes attached sleeve and hem components. A full separate underlayer is a different construction and must be specified.
FABRIC LANGUAGE
“Thermal” describes the waffle-knit style here; any warmth or performance claim needs evidence for the selected fabric.

BACK VIEW / DETAILS
THE LAYER
CARRIES THROUGH.
A quiet back keeps the fabric contrast in view.
02 / 06
Keep the layer visible from the back.
The mostly open cream back lets the charcoal sleeve and lower-hem extensions remain the defining details. A small fractured-grid mark near the neckline provides continuity without repeating the large front graphic. Review the amount of exposed waffle fabric from all sides, including when the arms bend or the wearer sits. The attachment points and layer lengths are established in the approved sample.
HEM RELATIONSHIP
Specify the visible extension below the outer hem and check that it hangs evenly around the garment.
BACK ARTWORK
The upper-back mark is independently sized and positioned; it does not repeat the front composition.

FIT STUDY / 03
SET THE
LAYER RATIO.
- OUTER BODYRelaxed jersey length and width.
- SLEEVE EXTENSIONControl the visible waffle length.
- LOWER HEMSet the amount of exposed layer.
- CUFF OPENINGBalance fit and recovery.
03 / 06
Define every visible length.
The relaxed outer body, short sleeve opening, long waffle sleeve and extended hem must be designed together. Too much exposed underlayer can change the balance, while a tight sleeve attachment can restrict movement. Specify outer and inner sleeve lengths, cuff opening and the hem extension separately. Approve the combined fit and drape on a complete sample with the actual material pairing.
MOVEMENT CHECK
Bend the elbow and raise the arms during fitting to check pulling at the sleeve attachment.
GRADING RULES
Agree how both layers change through the size range so their visible proportions stay intentional.

MATERIAL & CRAFT / 04
TEXTURE
MEETS STRUCTURE.
- FABRIC PAIRCheck weight, stretch and shrinkage.
- JOININGApprove attachment and seam bulk.
- FINISHReview cuff, hem and print together.
04 / 06
Match the fabrics before the finish.
Jersey and waffle knit can stretch, shrink and recover differently. Their weight and behavior need to be assessed together so the attached sleeves and hem do not twist or pull the outer body. The sample should show the joining method, cuff finish and inner seams as well as the graphic. Confirm the fabric pair and construction after the agreed wash and fit checks.
COMPATIBILITY
Specify each material’s composition and GSM separately; a single fabric-weight figure cannot describe the whole garment.
WEAR COMFORT
Inspect seam bulk and the inside attachment points, especially around the armhole and lower hem.

ON-BODY / 05
ONE PIECE.
MORE TEXTURE.
The sleeve and hem proportions create the layered effect.
05 / 06
A complete layered look in one piece.
The full outfit shows the contrast between the short outer sleeve and textured long sleeve, while the lower extension gives the silhouette a second hem line. Relaxed dark trousers keep attention on the garment’s proportions. This is a styling concept for a streetwear collection; the final thickness, drape and seasonal suitability depend on the selected materials and approved construction.
STYLING REVIEW
Assess the full sleeve length and lower extension with the trousers and intended fit your label plans to use.

Brief both layers as one design.
Send front and back drawings that identify the outer body, attached sleeve components, cuff and lower-hem construction. Include each fabric’s composition and GSM, extension measurements, size chart, print files, quantity and branding requirements. We assess the material pairing and assembly before quotation. Sample approval should cover the fit, joining seams, layer balance and wash behavior before you confirm bulk production.
START WITH A DRAWING
A clear section or construction reference helps distinguish attached pieces from two separately wearable garments.
APPROVAL PRIORITIES
Review shrinkage compatibility, seam comfort and the visible layer lengths on the physical sample.
HOW CUSTOM STREETWEAR ORDERS WORK
FROM YOUR DESIGN.
TO YOUR DELIVERY.
For made-to-order streetwear, the path starts with your design files. We review your requirements, quote and make a sample for your approval before you confirm a bulk order.

Send your design and requirements.
Share your drawings or tech pack, preferred fabric and weight, fit, artwork files, estimated quantity and target timing. We clarify missing details before pricing.
- 02 / REVIEW & QUOTE
Get a project-specific quotation.
We assess fabric, construction, decoration placement and quantity, then quote from the submitted design and specifications. We also agree on the sample scope; later design changes may affect the final price.
- 03 / SAMPLE DEVELOPMENT
See the garment in real life.
We develop a sample to check fit, fabric feel, decoration placement, color and finishing. The stated sample lead time is 7–20 days, subject to the agreed sample brief.
- 04 / SAMPLE APPROVAL
Review, revise and sign off.
You check the physical sample and send feedback. We agree any revisions, update the production specification and obtain your approval before bulk production.
- 05 / BULK ORDER
Confirm the order details.
After sample approval, confirm the final quantity, color and size breakdown, artwork placement, labels, packaging, price, payment terms and delivery schedule in the purchase order.
- 06 / PRODUCE & DELIVER
Make, inspect and ship.
We prepare materials, cut, decorate and sew the garments, with photo and video updates at key stages. Finished goods are inspected, packed and handed over under the agreed shipping terms.
Timing note: Sample revisions can add time. The 7–20 day figure is for sampling, not bulk production or shipping. We confirm the bulk schedule after sample approval and order details are agreed.
