XINHUI GARMENTS / CUSTOM MEN’S STREETWEAR
CUSTOM VINTAGE-WASH
SWEAT SET.
Develop a custom vintage-wash sweat set for your streetwear label. Faded oxblood knit gives the crewneck and wide-leg pants a shared worn-in character. Define both garments around your fabric, fit, artwork and size-pairing requirements.

FRONT VIEW / DESIGN
FADED COLOR.
CLEAR IDENTITY.
Faded color and complementary graphics connect the pieces.
01 / 06
A washed set with its own graphic balance.
Faded oxblood knit gives the crewneck and wide-leg pants a shared worn-in character. An original broken-ellipse chest graphic is balanced by a smaller complementary mark on the leg. Offset seam panels and a subtle neck insert add construction detail, so the design remains recognizable beyond the artwork alone.
DESIGN DIRECTION
A boxy crewneck with an inset neck detail and offset curved panels, paired with wide-leg sweatpants. A broken-ellipse chest graphic and a smaller complementary leg mark create a coordinated identity.
MATERIAL DEVELOPMENT
A sweatshirt-knit direction with a faded oxblood surface and tonal rib. Fabric composition, weight, finishing route, shade range and artwork compatibility require sample approval.

BACK VIEW / DETAILS
THE WASH
CARRIES THE BACK.
A quiet back keeps the washed surface in focus.
02 / 06
Let the wash carry the back.
The reverse remains mostly plain, allowing seam fading and the relaxed silhouette to show. A small neck detail and a simple rear pocket provide restrained finishing points. Specify any additional rear artwork separately, and check that pocket fabric and main panels sit within the agreed shade range after finishing.
BACK & INTERIOR
Provide back views and a wash reference for both garments, including rear-pocket shade expectations.
SAMPLE CHECK
Wash shade and acceptable variation, raised-seam fading, artwork handfeel, rib contrast, skew and finished measurements across the two garments.

FIT STUDY / 03
FIT AFTER
THE FINISH.
- FINISHED LENGTHMeasure after the approved finish.
- RIB OPENINGReview recovery and hem shape.
- PANT RISECheck balance with the top.
- TOLERANCESRecord them for both pieces.
03 / 06
Approve dimensions after the finish.
The intended fit must be assessed on the finished set. Review the crewneck body, rib opening, pant rise and open hem after the chosen treatment, then record the approved measurements. Top and bottom patterns need their own grading and tolerances even when they use a matching fabric and shared color reference.
TWO SIZE CHARTS
Top: chest, shoulder, body length, sleeve, neck and rib. Pants: waist relaxed/extended, hip, rise, thigh, inseam and hem. Measure both after the approved finishing process.
SIZE PAIRING
Specify the intended top and bottom size pairing and quantities for each piece. Review the full outfit on-body; record finished measurements for both garments before bulk approval.

ARTWORK.
- FADE MAPSpecify placement and intensity.
- ARTWORK FEELApprove finish and ink together.
- SHADE RANGESet acceptable variation.
04 / 06
Agree a finish range, not just a color name.
A vintage surface is described through base shade, seam contrast and where fading appears. Review these features with the graphic application on test pieces and complete samples. The finishing and decoration sequence should suit the chosen material; confirm acceptable variation and care requirements before committing to bulk production.
MATERIAL CHOICE
A sweatshirt-knit direction with a faded oxblood surface and tonal rib. Fabric composition, weight, finishing route, shade range and artwork compatibility require sample approval.
SET CONSISTENCY
Wash shade and acceptable variation, raised-seam fading, artwork handfeel, rib contrast, skew and finished measurements across the two garments.

ON-BODY / 05
OXBLOOD
IN DAYLIGHT.
Oxblood fading with a restrained chalk contrast.
05 / 06
Show the surface in natural light.
Daylight makes the oxblood fade and chalk-colored artwork easier to compare across the outfit. A relaxed pose keeps the crewneck hem and pant width visible, while movement shows how the knit falls. The concept sets an aesthetic direction; the physical approval sample establishes the actual handfeel, shade and finish.
COLLECTION CONTEXT
Compare both garments together under consistent light when approving the set color.
CONCEPT IMAGERY
These AI-generated images illustrate an original development direction, not physical samples or ready-stock items. The approved physical samples define the production garments.

QUANTITY & SAMPLING

APPROVAL BEFORE BULK
Approve both pieces, color relationship, fit, decoration, trims, labels and packing before bulk production. Confirm any required product testing and report scope for the project.
BEFORE YOU SEND YOUR BRIEF
Will every piece have exactly the same fade?
A washed finish can show variation. Agree a physical reference and an acceptable range rather than relying on a single digital image.
Can we change the wash color?
Yes. Provide a target shade and fading reference. The material and finishing route are assessed during development.
Is the worn graphic printed before or after washing?
The sequence depends on the selected fabric, inks and target appearance. We assess the approach and confirm it through sampling.
